Spanet-Android-Nexus-5 Spa pool controller

Spanet has a unique and exciting application that allows their users to control their spa remotely. Unfortunately the company in charge of maintaining their servers went down and consequently their app was down for several weeks. They were receiving daily complaints and therefore the situation was urgent. Foodeye is the mobile phone App that allows people who are interested in food to access accurate, complete and up-to-date information about food products and compare those products in order to make better choices about what they eat. Foodeye used a different company to make their initial iOS version of this application, however Heron Technology was able to offer a much better price for the Android version.

PitaBread-Android-Nexus-5 On-site Invoicing

When Pita Bread Ltd required a new real-time invoicing system they chose Android and Heron Technology. We created an App with all the necessary interfaces to communicate with their existing financial system. This App eases delivery, ordering, crediting and invoicing in real-time. All information, including signatures for proof-of-delivery, are recorded and stored in a digital format and a paper receipt can be printed using a handheld Bluetooth printer. The Android App was designed so non-technical personnel can easily operate it, aided by a predetermined flow.

Asset and Service maintenance
New Zealand Diving and Salvage Ltd, with offices across New Zealand, has a lot of equipment that needs to be serviced at regular intervals to comply with safety regulation. Heron Technology developed a complete software system to handle this using a combination of mobile and web technology. Android and Windows Mobile clients are used to barcode scan equipment to check and update usage status. Both dedicated scanners and build-in cameras are used for barcode scanning. Key personnel are automatically notified when equipment needs to be serviced. The system is further used to find and allocate material for different jobs.
